Kari Mecca

Kari is a nationally known designer and teacher specializing in hand embroidery and heirloom sewing techniques.   She has authored Silk Ribbon Whimsies book and co-authored Silk Ribbon Weaving and Embroidery book.  She has designed and published her own line of  children’s clothing patterns, embroidery plates and specialized kits.  She has been a regular contributor to Sew Beautiful magazine for 12 years and is an on staff teacher at Martha Pullen’s School of Art Fashion.  She is an approved Smocking Arts Guild of America teacher and enjoys traveling the country sharing her knowledge in seminars and workshops.
